2015年3月4日、ついにYANAKIKU渾身のファーストアルバム「柳菊ノ円盤」が発売となりました。
結成して約2年、怒涛の海外巡業を経て、彼女たちの伝えたいストーリーすべてが詰まった
ファーストシーズン完結編となるアルバムです。みなさんもうお手に取っていただけましたでしょうか？
今回のスタッフブログは、そんな渾身作の自慢とも言えるブックレット＆ジャケット写真の撮影風景をお届けしたいと思います。

been before. This album is a culmination of their
experience. It is the final chapter of

YANAKIKUの曲にちなんだ日本の名所で撮影をしようということになりました。
撮影が行われたのは遡ること、2014年暮れのことです。
木枯らしが吹き荒れる日々が続いていたとある晴天の日。
まずは回転寿司屋さんでの撮影からスタート。
回転寿司屋さんでの撮影はなかなか許可が下りず、何軒も交渉した結果、神田駅前にある「回転寿司 江戸ッ子」さんが有難いことに快諾してくださいました。

In relation to each song recorded,
we decided to go to a bunch of must-visit tourist spots in Tokyo.
The photo shoot took place late 2014.
And what better place to start the shoot
then a merry-go-round sushi shop!
While most shops didn’t allow us
permission to do a photo shoot in their restaurant,“Kaiten
Sushi Edokko” located in front of Kanda
station, welcomed us with open arms.
アルバム収録曲「グルグルチョイス」はまさに回転寿司の歌。
YANAKIKUの茶目っけがたっぷり詰まったイチオシ曲ということもあり、
今回ジャケットが公開された時に話題にもなった、裏テーマ“隠した口元はどうなっている？”の真相シーン等、いろんなシチュエーションを撮影させていただきました。

通常、ここ「花やしき流忍者体験道場」では忍者体験として「抜刀術」「忍び足の術」「隠れ身の術」「手裏剣」を忍者に教えてもらえるのですが、今回はYANAKIKUのわがままを聞いていただき、忍者のおふたりと戦ってみました。
鉄製手裏剣も持たせてもらったのですがこれが重かった！！

「隠れ身の術」に挑戦しているのは、忍者に憧れている我らのスーパースタイリスト兼衣装造形師のノブさん。YANAKIKUの衣装をすべて手がけている天才です。

そして、お次は新宿にある開運出世、財福招来がご利益の花園神社へ。
鳥居を前にすると人間気持ちが自然と引き締まりますよね。

called Tori, which mark the point of entrance into a sacred place.

ちなみに境内にあるこちらの「威徳稲荷神社」は、夫婦和合・子授け・縁結び・恋愛成就などにご利益があるとのことです、みなさん。

日没と共に点灯されるようで、だんだんジワーっと明るくなってくるんですね。

そしてやってきました“ゴールデン街”。
ゴールデン街のネオンの中で撮影したかったのですが、さすがゴールデン街、スタートが遅いのです。18時の時点では開いているお店はほぼありませんでした。

撮影が許可されている時間も限られていたので、
より灯りがついている路地を探し撮影を始めました。

「ゴールンデガイ」の曲の舞台となった“バーみゆき”も18時ではまだ開いていなかったのですが、路地での撮影を終えて帰り道前を通ったらなんと電気が！！
恐る恐る扉を開けてみると、みゆきちゃんはいなかったのですが代理のママが開店準備をしているところでした。せっかくなので思い切って店内で撮影していいかと相談してみると、なんと代理ママ快諾！有難く急遽撮影させていただいちゃいました！

It wasn’t open at 6PM, but once we
finished shooting the different alleyways and came back,
the lights were on! We all hurried over

wasn’t there, her stand in was busy prepping to open.
Without any expectations, we asked if we could shoot a little inside shop. And her answer was “yes.” Yes!
